Lot consisting of 4 historic Bank of Spain notes issued between 1928 and 1931, printed by the prestigious British house Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. (New Malden, Surrey, England):
- Banknotes not for circulation (out of circulation).
BREAKDOWN AND CONDITION OF THE LOT:
1. 500 Pesetas (25 April 1931) - Juan Sebastián Elcano
- Series: No series (Direct numbering: 1,413,287)
- Maintains its original crisp paper (crisp), with corners completely sharp and a total absence of folds or handling.
2 and 3. Pair of 100 Pesetas (15 August 1928) - Miguel de Cervantes
- Series: A
- Consecutive serial numbering: A5.548.484 and A5.548.485
- Notes with strong presence and color, showing light and soft natural folds in the paper. No tears, scribbles, or washes.
4. 50 Pesetas (15 August 1928) - Diego Velázquez
- Series: No series (Direct numbering: 1,984,603)
- Firm paper with sizing and slight signs of gentle folding.
