Mirror- Carved wooden wall mirror in Baroque style - Wood, Glass

Beautifully crafted wall mirror with a richly carved wooden frame in an unmistakable Baroque/Rococo style. The tall, asymmetrically undulating frame features acanthus leaves, scroll motifs, a floral ornament at the bottom and an openwork crown with a bow- or cartouche-shaped ornament. The wood has a warm dark-brown finish with visible grain, which makes the carving stand out well.

Probably manufactured in Italy or Spain, in the second half of the 20th century, after an 18th-century model.

Condition appropriate for age and use, with minor damage to the back but the front is in very good condition.
