As soon as you half-press the shutter release of the T50, the flash fires an invisible infrared pre-flash.
The built-in sensor measures the distance to your subject and the reflection, and calculates in a fraction of a second the correct aperture (usually f/2.8, f/4 or f/5.6).
Fully automatic (Program AE):
The flash communicates directly with the T50.
Once the flash is charged, the camera automatically locks the shutter speed at the correct flash sync time of 1/60 second.
So you don’t have to set anything yourself.
The flash has a guide number of 16 (at ISO 100), which is ideal for informal indoor photography, parties, or portraits.
The set is delivered in a portable textile carrying bag.
