Description from the seller

Abū ʿAbd Allāh Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥusayn ibn Nāṣir, better known as Ibn Nāṣir al-Darʿī, was a Moroccan jurist, linguist and bibliophile. He is among the most influential figures of Moroccan Sufism, and is considered the renovator of the Shādhiliyya tariqa. He is credited with consolidating the scholarly influence of the zaouïa of Tamegroute, of which he took leadership in 1052 AH (1642 CE).
An ancient and rare manuscript, unpublished, containing the responses of an eminent sheikh; this text drew the attention of Sheikh Muhammad ibn Abi al-Qasim al-Sanhaji as well as Sheikh al-Sanusi.
This manuscript is regarded as the very essence of the Sheikh’s knowledge, intended for his disciple, for his followers as well as for all people; it offers extensive knowledge covering various sciences, both religious and secular.

Manuscript from the library of the Zaouïa Nassiriya in Tamegroute, in the eastern part of the Moroccan Sahara.

Note: Without three men, knowledge in Morocco would have died out in the 11th century due to the numerous troubles that afflicted it; these are Sidi Mohammed ben Nasser (in Drâa), Sidi Mohammed ben Abi Bakr al-Dila'i (in Dila) and Sidi Abdelkader al-Fassi.
A very interesting manuscript for researchers and collectors of ancient Arabic manuscripts
