Scarce copperplate map of Switzerland by Conrad Mannert, published by the ‘Imperially Privileged Art Dealers Adam Gottlieb Schneider and Weigel’, Nuremberg. Dated 1803.
The map shows the Swiss Confederation and neighbouring areas, such as parts of Italy, France and Germany. It is based on well-known contemporary surveys and maps from the late 18th century, such as those by Weisse, Bacler d’Albe, Mallet, Feer, and other individual sheets.
