Splendid antique double bed linen set dating from 1930, originating from an old family trousseau and carefully preserved for many years.

The set consists of a top sheet and pillowcases and is made of linen and cotton, with refined hand-made embroidery.

Particularly elegant is the white-on-white decoration, characterized by floral motifs, ornamental scrolls, and delicate openwork and filet-type work. The richness and precision of the embroidery testify to the great care given to household linens in the first half of the 20th century.

The set is a vintage-new item and has never been used. It has been kept for decades inside a chest.

Considering its age of about 90 years and the long storage period, there may be slight yellowing, small halos, spots or traces from storage, even in areas not immediately visible.
