AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

This precious sheet is a classic example of intaglio embroidery and Burano lace
Grapes on grapevines
The workmanship is distinguished by the typical ribbons or "fettuccine" that form swirls and floral motifs, united among themselves by bars in a netting stitch. Vintage textile craft, historically used for the most refined bridal trousseaus, it is used on high-quality fabrics such as pure fine cotton to make matrimonial sheets, flowers with four or more petals outlined by a continuous frill. Openwork/intaglio technique: portions of fabric removed and replaced by netted weaves embroidered to create beautiful games of transparency. Small floral elements and embroidered on the sides of the hem with satin stitch.
The sheet has one matching pillowcase, but I have paired another in cotton with Burano lace; I have also paired two more beautiful pillowcases in linen with embroidery and mother-of-pearl buttons, which fit very well with the sheet.
Never used, like new
Dimensions;
Sheet: 2.62 x 2.20 m, cotton
(2) Pillowcases: 86 x 55 cm / 80 x 45 cm, cotton; one is not part of the sheet but can be paired easily, always in Burano lace
(2) I have added two more linen pillowcases, 83 x 53 cm, with mother-of-pearl buttons
