Pair of Chinese Nesting Side Tables – Dark Wood – Early 20th Century
Elegant pair of Chinese nesting side tables, dating from the early 20th century, featuring a traditional Chinese design and an attractive dark reddish-brown finish.
The tables are made in graduated sizes, allowing the smaller table to fit neatly beneath the larger one. Both feature rectangular recessed-panel tops, moulded edges, shaped aprons and slender straight legs joined by stretchers.
Their rich colour and aged patina give them considerable decorative appeal. They can be used together or separately as side tables, occasional tables, display stands or plant stands.
