Bagatelle / Chikago Ball pinball game, a pre‑WWII mechanical marble game, in good condition and in working order, dimensions 44 cm W × 82 cm D × 26 cm H, no original packaging, collection only in Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands.
Description from the seller
Bagatelle / Pinball game – Chikago Ball
A mechanical marble game from before World War II.
The predecessor of pinball / flipper machines.
The cabinet has French texts and the name Chikago Ball.
I do not know the maker.
By means of the lever metal balls are shot out, scoring points.
With one lever the balls are fed downward, with the other lifted back up for a new game.
The game is in working order; both mechanical levers (making balls disappear downward and bring them back up) work. The plunger spring also works.
Whether the coin function works I dare not say, the game functions without coin insertion and I cannot open the bagatelle. On the at the end there is a hinge, but there is either a lock somewhere that I cannot find or it does not work. Or the top plate is attached to the cabinet with nails and/or glue. Because it functions I leave it at that.
I have not been able to look inside to see how it is laid out and/or to find any information about the maker.
Dimensions: 44x82x26 cm.
In good condition.
Due to weight and fragility we do not ship.
To be picked up in Alphen aan den Rijn, the Netherlands.
