Rare original Greek glazed sheet metal sign, coming from the Forest Service signage.

The sign bears in Greek characters:

«ΠΡΟΣΕΞΕ – ΚΙΝΔΥΟΣ ΠΥΡΚΑΓΙΑΣ»

Forest Service

and the number 191, associated with the telephone service for emergencies related to forest fires.

The graphic features a large stylized illustration with a tree, flames and a forest tool, rendered in the characteristic colors green, red, orange, blue and black.

The item is particularly interesting for collectors of public signage, enameled signs, Greek memorabilia, forest equipment and industrial/vintage graphics.

Condition

The sign shows significant and authentic signs of age: numerous small losses of enamel, scratches, abrasions, oxidation and rust traces along the edges and on the back. There are also fixing marks and holes compatible with its previous use.

The back is original and also retains a small informational sticker.
