Victorian-style antique wooden wall mirror from the United Kingdom, dating to 1850–1900, with a towel rail and a built-in storage compartment, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Victorian style mahogany wall mirror with towel rail and storage compartment. These antique pieces were popular in bathrooms, washrooms or as shaving mirrors in the late 1800s (the Victorian era).
Key features:
• Material: Made from high-quality, dark-toned mahogany or walnut.
• Design: Decorated with an elegant, carved arched pediment on top. Under the central, rectangular mirror panel is a small storage compartment with a convex (cylindrical or barrel-shaped) lid, which was originally used to store shaving accessories, gloves or brushes. At the bottom of the unit is a built-in wooden towel rail.
The mirror is in very good condition. There are no major signs of use, there are a couple of faint spots on the glass panel but they are not visible.
We can post it carefully packaged, in an insured, registered package.
