Description from the seller
GENERAL:
Alfa Romeo 33 1.3 from 1990 with 136,000 km, auctioned without reserve. An Italian compact sedan with a sporty soul and legendary mechanics that defined an era in the 80s and 90s. Designed by Ermanno Cressoni at the Alfa Romeo Styling Center, the 33 is considered by many as the last Alfa before full integration into the Fiat Group, inheriting the famous low-center-of-gravity boxer engine layout from the revolutionary Alfasud. This four-cylinder opposed-piston engine is renowned for its distinctive raspy sound and agile mid-range response that endears the brand enthusiasts. This unit represents an ideal opportunity for the youngtimer enthusiast seeking a usable, honest car with character and a value-creating potential.
BODYWORK AND PAINT:
Keeps its original metallic silver paint. Shows imperfections typical of use and age, with small scratches and signs of life that add authenticity without any dents, dings or structural corrosion. The undercarriage and wheel arches are sound. It features original glass, headlights, taillights and exterior fittings in good condition, as well as the original Alfa Romeo hubcaps.
MECHANICAL:
Mechanical condition ready to enjoy, with a recently carried out mechanical inspection and a recently passed MOT with no faults. The 1.3 flat-four engine starts at first turn, maintains a steady idle and delivers the model’s characteristic sound. Gearbox, brakes and steering are in perfect working order for immediate use without additional investments.
INTERIOR:
Surprisingly sound and complete cabin for its age. The dashboard has no cracks and the upholstery has no major tears. It shows the normal wear of its more than 30 years without cosmetic alterations, preserving the functionality of all its elements and the original period atmosphere.
DOCUMENTATION:
Documentation fully in order and MOT recently passed, ready for ownership transfer.
PICKUP:
Vehicle available for pickup in Olot, Girona, Spain.
OTHER INFORMATION:
An honest, unrestored unit offered with no reserve, without concealing flaws and preserving its history in view. It is an ideal car for collectors seeking originality as well as for enthusiasts who want to start in the classics world with a reliable, inexpensive-to-maintain model and the pure Alfa driving experience.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
