Description from the seller
Set of three coffee grinders, Dienes Mokka, Gesto and S&C, c. 1930–1960
Set of three wooden table grinders, each with a sliding drawer and a button at the front.
The left grinder has an oak case with visible dovetail joints and a top panel with a beveled edge. On top sits a cream‑white lacquered cylindrical grinding chamber with a metal crank and a wooden handle. At the front there is an oval metal plate with the text "First quality", an anchor with the letters "S&C" and "Forged internals".
The middle grinder is from the German brand Dienes, model Mokka, with a curved honey‑colored wooden carcass, a nickel‑plated metal top plate, a wooden handle and a black button on the drawer. On the front sits the original red brand plaque "Dienes Mokka".
The right grinder is from the brand Gesto, with a light brown wooden carcass, a metal cover plate on the top, a wooden handle and a black button on the drawer. On the front there is a round brand emblem.
The grinders are used vintage condition, appropriate to their age. The paint and metal show signs of wear, such as light scuffing and some chipped spots on the cream‑white vat of the left grinder and on the nickel‑plated top plate of the middle grinder. The wooden cases have a warm patina.
This set of three coffee grinders in different models forms a stylish, decorative collection for enthusiasts of coffee artifacts and rural kitchen decor.
