The Rotel RDV-1093 is a high-end CD-DVD player of the top class (manufacturing years 2007–2008), designed specifically for native 1080p video upscaling via an HDMI output.
• Comprehensive upscaling: The integrated high-performance video scaler upscales standard DVDs up to a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (1080p) to achieve maximum sharpness and detail on modern displays.
• Image optimization: Equipped with Adaptive Geometrical Chroma Mapping and Digital Direct Progressive Scan (for NTSC and PAL) to reduce image artifacts.
• Connectors: HDMI, component video (YPbPr), S-Video and composite video.
Audio & Playback
• Format variety: Supports not only classic movie DVDs (DVD-Video) but also audiophile DVD-Audio media, music CDs, SVCDs as well as self-burned media (DVD-R/RW, CD-R/RW) with MP3-, WMA- and JPEG-files. Note: SACD is not supported.
• Sound quality: High-quality broadband audio D/A converters provide a clear, dynamic sound. Digital audio signals can be output optically (Toslink) or coaxially.
