Colosseo fits into a category of highly successful products: service accessories. Furnishings that change function according to occasions and needs, switching, in the Colosseo case, from coffee table to pouf. In designing this new object, Fukasawa arrived at the desired shape by envisioning a solid in the form of an inverted truncated cone lightened by inlets shaped like arches that mark its surface, creating an analogy with the structure of the famous Roman arena, from which it takes its name. Made of rigid polyurethane painted in numerous glossy colors, Colosseo is available in two sizes.
