Colosseo fits into a category of products with great success: service accessories. Furniture elements that change function depending on the occasion and needs, switching, in the Colosseo case, from coffee table to pouf. In designing this new object, Fukasawa arrived at the desired shape by imagining a solid in the form of an inverted truncated cone lightened by arch-shaped indentations that outline its surface, thus creating an analogy with the structure of the famous Roman arena, from which it takes its name. Made in hard polyurethane finished in numerous glossy colors, Colosseo is available in two sizes.
