Märklin H0 - 39790 - Tender locomotive (1) - Full sound - DB

This very detailed execution of the Series 78 reflects the condition from 1956 (Era III) with a curved cab roof without rivets and two signals in front and behind. For the first time, the Series 78 is produced with the buffer height compliant with NEM and the new flat short couplings. There are no fewer than 32 digital sound and light functions. The locomotive carries the number 78 054. Märklin has listed this version in the catalog for only a few years up to 2025.

This locomotive stood in my display case and has only run to test all functions.

The locomotive has been checked and is being carefully packed and shipped.
