Iconic single-flower vase model “Balloton,” an original piece produced by the renowned and prestigious Murano manufacturer Venini in 2005. The vase is handmade according to the ancient traditional technique of “balloton,” which uses a metal mold with pyramid tips to imprint in the incandescent glass the characteristic cross-relief pattern (matelassé), capable of creating evocative plays of light. This specimen stands out for its splendid luminous color “Acquamare,” elegantly finished on the upper rim with a hot-applied red glass thread. Signature and Dating: On the bottom of the object sits the official signature inscribed with a diamond-point acid: “Venini 2005,” certifying its authenticity and exact year of production.
