refined antique rectangular frame, superb example of early 20th-century craftsmanship. The supporting structure is made of wood, enriched on the front by a rich and detailed inlays decoration finely executed in bas-relief.
The ornament runs along the entire surface with a continuous motif of vegetal sprigs, acanthus leaves, flowers and small fruits, framed by an external moulding with stylized foliage and an inner beading profile (fuseruole). The gilded finish presents a beautiful original patina that gives depth and historical charm to the whole.
Versatile item, ideal both for housing antique paintings and prints, and to be transformed into a large-impact mirror.
