Seven gold nuggets from the Guelb Ndour Tiris Zemmour region in Mauritania, with a total weight of 1.292 g.
Description from the seller
Discovery Zone
23°33’ North

These nuggets come from the desert region of Tiris Zemmour in northern Mauritania, more than a hundred kilometers from an area named Guelb Ndour.
Gold mining in this country was previously reserved only for a large industrial company.
But since 2016 individual prospecting is allowed using metal detectors.
I offer them as I found them; I have only cleaned them with soapy water.
The gold from this region is quite pure; in general its fineness is around 950 to 980 parts per thousand, which corresponds to 22.80 to 23.50 carats.
Although gold mining has become one of Mauritania’s major resources, nuggets are quite rare because nearly all the gold is melted into ingots that are then sent to Dubai.
All photos were taken in natural daylight.
I photographed these nuggets as honestly and precisely as possible using daylight.
Please note that differences in screen settings and ambient lighting can lead to variations in color, saturation, and perceived tones.
The nuggets you will receive are of course the ones shown in the photos.
I ship quickly, securely, and discreetly in a sturdy C5-sized envelope (162mm x 229mm) by French La Poste registered mail.
