Specimen consisting of four gold nuggets from the Tiris Zemmour region in Mauritania, with a total weight of 1.605 g.
Description from the seller
Discovery Zone

These nuggets come from the desert region of Tiris Zemmour in northern Mauritania, more than a hundred kilometers from an area named Guelb Ndour.
Gold mining in this country had previously been reserved only for a large industrial company.
But since 2016 individual mining is officially allowed using metal detectors.
I offer them as I found them; I have only cleaned them with soapy water.
The gold from this region is quite pure; generally its purity is around 950 to 980 thousandths, which corresponds to 22.80 to 23.50 carats.
Although gold mining has become one of Mauritania’s main resources, nuggets are fairly rare because almost all gold is melted into ingots that are then sent to Dubai.
All photos were taken in natural daylight.
I photographed these nuggets as honestly and as accurately as possible using daylight.
Please note that differences in screen settings and ambient lighting can cause variations in color, saturation, and hues perceived.
The nuggets you will receive are of course the ones shown in the photos.
I ship quickly, securely and discreetly in a non-bendable C5 envelope (162mm x 229mm) by La Poste (French postal service) registered mail.
