Verreries de Scailmont- Henri Heemskerk – Art Deco vase

Satin-finished Art Deco vase from the “Verreries Scailmont” in Belgium designed by Henri Heemskerk (born 1886 – died 1953) circa 1930.

This vase is signed ‘Scailmont H.H.’ on the side and at the bottom with ‘MADE IN BELGIUM’
The vase is described in the book ‘Les verreries de Scailmont à l’époque Art Déco’ (see images).

Height about 14 cm, diameter 13.5 cm.

The vase is in very good used condition. Glass threads and/or air bubbles are characteristic of this production.
