Serving dish (2) - Plat asperges avec égouttoir d'origine - Majolica - Majolique asparagus dish

I am offering this very elegant and antique asparagus dish in Majolica ceramic, complete with its original draining rack. It measures 37.5 cm by 22 cm and 7 cm high. Majolica refers to fine glazed earthenware pieces with colored decorations and relief patterns (often called ‘barbotines’) produced by different pottery works during the Art Nouveau period. Typical production from the early 1900s; could it be the Nimy, Wasmuel, Onnaing faience works or another… no maker’s mark, just a hollow ‘E’. Perfect condition, with no cracks or chips; I note the presence of some imprint traces (the glaze a bit dulled) due to age and use. Ultra-protected shipping with insurance will be provided.
