Elegant complete set of 12 heavy hand-cut lead crystal glasses, consisting of 4 large water goblets / red wine glasses, 4 medium white wine glasses, and 4 small liqueur / sherry / port glasses.
High-quality manufacture, presumably Bohemia / Czechoslovakia, 1960s-1980s.
The entire set features the same rich coordinated decoration, hand-engraved over the bowl with a fan-like 12-point star pattern alternating with vertical cuts and fine rippling, typical of the great Bohemian school. Short faceted stem with knop and circular foot.
Crystal of exceptional brilliance, clarity and resonance. Very heavy, thick glass, deep and sharp cutting to the touch, a hallmark of artisanal workmanship.
Complete and homogeneous set, ideal for laying a vintage table in high style for 4 people with water, wine and coordinated after-dinner glassware. Very hard to find a complete 12-piece set.
