Elegant fish service in Limoges porcelain, with a particularly refined pattern, combining superb polychrome illustrations of fish and aquatic vegetation with a rich ornamental gilded frieze.
The lively borders, underscored by a delicate gold filet, as well as the abundant gilded frieze give the whole a highly decorative appearance, evoking in its inspiration the splendor of the great French tables and ceremonial services inspired by Louis XV.
Each plate features a fish motif, in natural and delicately nuanced colors. The large serving dish repeats this theme with a substantial aquatic scene, while the matching sauce tureen, also decorated with a fish, completes the set harmoniously.
