AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
For sale: a magnificent valve radio (vacuum tubes) from the prestigious German brand Telefunken, model Concertino 55, manufactured between 1954 and 1955.
The unit is in perfect working condition. It has been tested and offers that warm, rich, and powerful sound so characteristic of vintage audio amplifiers from this golden era.
• Functions: It tunes perfectly the FM bands (UKW), Medium Wave (Mittel), Long Wave (Lang), and Short Wave (Kurz). The independent bass (Tiefen) and treble (Höhen) controls respond smoothly.
• Aesthetic condition: Very good overall condition. The original walnut wood cabinet retains its shine, the speaker fabric is pristine, and the dial glass has no cracks. All buttons are original. The green "magic eye" (tuning indicator) turns on and works.
• Power supply: Operates directly on the current 220V mains.
A spectacular piece for collectors or a retro decor item ideal for mid-century style living rooms.
IMPORTANT: The power cord and the original mains plug have been replaced with a modern cable for strict electrical safety and daily use without danger.
