Late 19th–Early 20th Century French Ceramic Coffee Pots – Floral Decoration, Set of Two

Charming pair of antique French ceramic coffee pots dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. Their elegant elongated forms combine an ivory-toned crackle glaze with delicate floral decoration, creating a particularly decorative ensemble with authentic period character.

Key Details

- Origin & Period: France, late 19th–early 20th century.
- Design: Two graduated lidded pots featuring tall bodies, pronounced spouts, curved handles, ring-shaped lid finials and vertically fluted lower sections.
- Decoration: Beautiful blue floral borders surrounding bouquets of white daisies, blue flowers and green foliage. Fine gilt accents highlight the rims and moulded details.
- Dimensions: Large: 17 × 12.5 × 6.2 cm (6.69 × 4.92 × 2.44 in). Small: 14.5 × 11 × 5.5 cm (5.71 × 4.33 × 2.17 in).
- Condition: Antique condition with visible craquelure to the glaze, wear to the gilding and several small chips consistent with age and use. Please refer carefully to the photographs.
- Marking: A partially preserved red mark is visible underneath one piece but has not been identified.
