Description from the seller
Vintage Peter Dienes “Dienes Mokka” coffee grinder, model 520, made in Remscheid, Germany, circa 1956–1960. An authentic and charming example of mid-century German coffee-grinder design, featuring a warm honey-coloured beechwood body, original chromed metal grinding assembly, characteristic hand crank with wooden handle, original Dienes Mokka maker’s badge and front collecting drawer. The Mokka designation is associated with fine coffee grinding, while the model 520 is documented in period catalogues from the late 1950s. This example retains its original components, attractive age-related patina and natural signs of use, adding character and authenticity. The grinding mechanism is complete and fully functional. A particularly appealing piece for collectors of vintage coffee grinders, German design and historical kitchen objects. Approx. dimensions: 21 × 9 × 13 cm. Maker: Peter Dienes / PeDe. Origin: Remscheid, Germany. Period: circa 1956–1960. Materials: beechwood, chromed steel and metal. Condition: good vintage condition with authentic age-related patina.
