A carefully selected collection of three premium vintage TDK Type IV Metal Position blank audio cassette tapes, all unused and preserved in their original sealed packaging.
The highlight of this lot is the highly regarded TDK MA-R 60, featuring TDK’s precision die-cast RS (Reference Standard) cassette mechanism. It is accompanied by two desirable MA-X models in different recording lengths, creating an attractive overview of TDK’s upper-level metal tape range.
This lot includes:
- 1 x TDK MA-R 60 – Type IV Metal Position, 60 minutes, Reference Standard die-cast cassette mechanism
- 1 x TDK MA-X 46 – Model MA-X46, Type IV Metal Position, 46 minutes, Calibrated Duplex Cassette Mechanism
- 1 x TDK MA-X 90 – Model MA-X90M, Type IV Metal Position, 90 minutes, SP-AR II cassette mechanism
The three tapes represent different premium TDK designs and recording lengths: 46, 60 and 90 minutes. The distinctive blue MA-R, grey MA-X 46 and black-and-gold MA-X 90 packaging make this a particularly appealing display set for collectors of high-grade Japanese audio media.
All three tapes remain unopened and sealed. Their original packaging has been deliberately preserved.
Please note the following condition details:
- The MA-X 90 retains an old retail price label on the front of the outer wrapping.
- The MA-X 46 retains old retail price labels on one side.
- The outer wrapping shows age-related storage wear, including scuffs, rubbing, wrinkles, minor marks and slight wear around some edges and corners.
- The extent and appearance of the wear vary between the three tapes.
The price labels have not been removed, as attempting to remove them could damage the original wrapping.
As these are vintage sealed tapes, they have not been opened, recorded on or played. Their recording and playback performance therefore cannot be guaranteed.
