3 salvaged vintage electrical parts switchgear originating from the abandoned mines in the Cartagena-Portmán mining area in Spain:
- 3-phase guillotine switch 20 A from the brand Silex Manufacturas Electrotecnicas Valencia (calle Conde Salva 32). Switch with brass blades, mounted on a natural stone base. Base plate thickness 1.5 cm. Length of switch blades 5.5 cm. A guillotine switch is equipped with springs to make the actual breaking moment at high currents as fast as possible and thus avoid a large arc at the switch. Length with wooden handle 16 cm. Width 11 cm. Natural stone base is damaged at the bottom (see photos). Switch in uncleaned condition, residues of previous arcing are still present. One central connecting screw is missing.
