Description from the seller
A special KLM Delft Blue ashtray in the shape of KLM house No. 17.
This is not just a decorative miniature house, but an original KLM ashtray. On the rear there is the characteristic notch for the ash, while the opening at the top could be used to strike a cigarette. The design is thus both decorative and functional.
The house is rendered in the recognizable Delft Blue and depicts a typical Dutch historic building. On the rear is the original KLM logo. On the underside it is marked with “Delft's Blue – Made in Holland.”
This is KLM house No. 17. This model was originally issued for the first time in 1961; the offered specimen is a later production run.
