Elegant Sheffield oval entrée dish in silvered metal, complete with lid and pierced inner grid. The service consists of three pieces: base, lid, and pierced draining plate with a refined radiating pattern of leaves and droplets, designed for draining vegetables, fish, or asparagus.

The rim of the base and the lid is decorated with a double beaded relief cord, in the classic Georgian taste so loved by Sheffield silversmiths. The lid is topped by a beaded ring handle with scrolls, on an oval base with engraved foliage.
