Description from the seller
Antique hand-hammered copper dessert molds in various shapes - 19th/20th century_
Splendid objects made entirely in red copper, hand-hammered. Craftsmanship typical of the 19th-20th century with pronounced chasing and visible welds, which attest to their authenticity and age.
- Material: pure copper, antique tinned interior
- Era: late 19th - early 20th century, probable northern Italian / French production
- Shape:_ Sweet mold/aspic/chocolate, highly sought-after zoomorphic type
- Details: small tab / original ring on the back for hanging in the kitchen, vivid patina with green oxidation between the scales and on the tail, eye and gills well defined.
- Condition: good, structurally intact, minimal dings consistent with use, interior worn from use
- Use: perfect as a decorative rustic kitchen piece, for a collection of antique utensils, or still usable after restagnation for sweets, savory jellies, chocolate, or molded butter.
Rare and very decorative pieces, ideal for decorating a country kitchen, an agriturismo, or for collectors of antique zoomorphic copper, increasingly hard to find in these conditions.
