Christofle - Teapot - Silverplated - Antica - No Reserve

Antique and important silver-plated teapot by Christofle, of French origin and from the first half of the 20th century.
The object features a flower as a knob for the lid, and it is richly worked with engravings and with an alternation between polished silver-plated and satin finish.
The teapot presents a distinctive handle that reproduces a knotted rope and the spout is shaped like the head of a bird.
On the bottom is the Christofle mark and the balancer mark used until the 1940s of the 20th century.
