Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
A Dutch late Gothic chest made of oak, dating from the 17th century.
Description from the seller
Dutch late-Gothic chest, around 1600.
A magnificent, stylish chest from a once-stylish interior.
No later than the early 17th century.
Around the frieze panels in very nicely figured quarter-sawn oak.
Beautiful blond color.
If the wood was soaked for long periods it could stay lighter because the tannin largely leaches out.
Short hinges (original).
The original lock plate also retains its Gothic character.
Beautifully forged handles. see the detail photo.
There are panels on the back as well.
And inside, two document compartments.
No key included.
I only ship to EU countries.
If you wish, you can also pick it up yourself - select this option at the payment.
I usually ship with DHL or FedEx.
On a pallet, well packaged, door-to-door.
You will receive a track and trace number.
Buyers from other countries must arrange their own transport.
You will receive the order details from me.
That can be with, among others, UPS, GLS, FedEx and DHL.
You will receive a label from your carrier and email it to me.
