Early Flemish cabinet from the Southern Netherlands, circa 1600, in oak, Renaissance antique style, 184 cm high, 154 cm wide, 60 cm deep, with three doors on top and two below, in good condition with minor signs of age and stains and can be locked.
Description from the seller
Early Flemish cabinet, Southern Netherlands around 1600.
Very refined carving and in very good condition.
Three doors on top and two below.
This layout is typical for this region.
We also see it echoed in Brabant.
Also fairly richly worked, which was more common in the Catholic Netherlands.
- it looks monumental but is fairly low-184 cm tall.
See also the early feet: so-called 'block feet', these were common before the bulb feet.
Bulb feet did not come into fashion until the second half of the 17th century.
Nice patina. Restorations.
I ship only to EU countries.
Buyers from other countries must arrange their own transport.
You will receive the shipment details from me.
That can be with, among others, UPS, GLS, FedEx and DHL.
You will receive a label from your carrier and email it to me.
