The Jaguar XJ-6 is still the renowned classic touring car par excellence. Wide, long and low, equipped with a beautiful whisper-quiet six-cylinder under the long and elegant bonnet.
The four round headlights, incorporated into the body design since 1968, were produced until the early spring of 2009. The latter was built from aluminium, both chassis and body.
It had air suspension all around and computer-controlled dampers with a total weight of only 1,600 kg for the six-cylinder diesel... Amazing what a true limousine.
The interior was richly furnished with high-gloss root walnut wood panels and leather furniture. Now a thing of the past.
