Brass lamp, model Abatible y Regulable, made in France, in good used condition and fully functional, with a depth of 53 cm, width 71 cm and height 71 cm, in a Modern Mid-Century style (1960–1970) and titled Arco.
Description from the seller
This elegant lamp, dated between the 1960s and 1970s, perfectly embodies the refinement of postwar French design, where the sobriety of the lines combines with noble materials and a sculptural presence. Entirely made of brass, it features a slender vertical structure topped by a curved arched arm that supports the suspended shade, creating a light and sophisticated silhouette with great decorative appeal.
The quality of its construction is evident in its solid plumbed base, designed to provide excellent stability despite the sleekness of the piece. The focal point is adjustable and tiltable, allowing you to direct the light according to reading needs or ambient illumination, a feature highly valued in design lamps of this period. The brass finish retains the warm patina acquired over time, adding depth and authenticity to the piece.
It is in good overall condition, with signs of use and age consistent with its more than fifty-year history. Given the age of the electrical system, it is recommended to rewire to ensure optimal operation and compatibility with current standards. To facilitate safe transport, the lamp will be shipped disassembled in two packages. During preparation for shipment, it may be necessary to cut the existing wiring, a simple intervention and easily repairable at destination during the installation or electrical update process.
A piece of great elegance, ideal for interiors with classical, Hollywood Regency, modernist, or eclectic inspiration, capable of providing functional lighting while also making a marked decorative statement.
Shipped with certification and good packaging.
