Hermann Zotty with a working squeaker
36 cm tall – 1960 – West Germany

Handmade. Fur of mottled dark/light brown curly mohair, in good condition. Y-shaped mouth of peach-colored felt with pink airbrushed tongue. Peach-colored felt hands and feet with embroidered claws. Fully jointed (head, arms and legs are movable). Hand-embroidered brown nose and mouth. Brown glass safety eyes. Head and belly filled with wood wool, the rest with softer material. With a working squeaker (pieper) in the belly.

Features of a Hermann Zotty:
- Evenly colored chest (Steiff Zotty bears have a peach-colored or lighter patch on the chest).
- 3 embroidered stripes as claws, running up to the paw (Steiff has them running over them).
