The tapestry was handwoven in the renowned weaving workshops of Hamot in Aubusson, France. It is therefore about 46 years old and counts among the modernist Aubusson tapestries series of the late 20th century. These editions were usually produced in a very small, limited edition (often numbered up to 6 copies).
