Splendid and fascinating vintage mechanical desk alarm clock with flip date calendar, produced in Shanghai (China) by the renowned Diamond manufacture (recognizable by the diamond logo on the dial) between the late 70s and early 80s.
The item stands out for its Space Age and modernist style, characterized by a solid rectangular structure complemented by a thick chrome mirrored metal frame. The dial, with a geometric and minimalist style, features on the left side stylized hour indicators and on the right a chrome window with the mechanical two-color date cards for the days. At the bottom there are the original bilingual inscriptions "中国 上海 SHANGHAI, CHINA".
Conditions and Functioning:
The clock presents in excellent vintage aesthetic condition, complete in all its original parts (including knobs and rear winding keys).
The item has been tested and is perfectly functional:
