Antique cast-iron fireplace plate dating to 1850–1900, black with a neoclassical central bas-relief depicting four cherubs drawing a small festive cart, approximately 40 cm wide by 47 cm high, weighing 13.4 kg, in good used condition with light signs of wear, Luigi XV style.

Elegant and sturdy fireplace plate (hearth plate) in heavy cast iron, dating from the late 19th century or the first half of the 20th century.
The plate is decorated with a refined central bas-relief in Neoclassical taste depicting an allegorical scene with four putti (cherubs) pulling a small festive wagon. The rich shaped frame features geometric and symmetrical floral motifs that elongate its silhouette.
Condition:
The object is in excellent condition and is structurally integral, free of cracks, breaks, or old welds. The cast iron has already been cleaned of rust and presents a beautiful natural dark patina, ready to be installed in a working fireplace or used as a decorative furnishing element.
