Double handled vase (2) - Brass - Neoclassical Brass Vase

An elegant matching pair of neoclassical-style brass vases, combining a deep green finish with gold-coloured classical relief decoration. Draped female figures and a winged Cupid-like figure adorn the bodies, bringing movement and detail to their sculptural forms.
Ornate animal-head handles incorporate fruit, rosettes and curling scrolls. Slender necks rise to scalloped, flared mouths, while tapered bodies rest on circular pedestal feet accented with decorative foliage bands.
Their balanced proportions and contrasting colours make them a striking pair for a mantelpiece, console or classical interior.
Sold together as a pair. Please examine all photographs for decorative details and condition.
