Description from the seller

No minimum price!
Library director in the classic English style (Victorian/Regency style).

On one step, a motif is affixed—a round leather piece bearing the inscription “STEFANSKIRCHE WIEN.” I don’t know whether this piece of furniture actually belonged to a church in central Vienna.

The upper part of the stair railing, which you grip while climbing, has been detached but can be easily re-glued as soon as you find the right place for it in the house.

Give your home, office, or library a touch of timeless elegance! This extraordinary, spirally curved book staircase is not only a practical helper for tall shelves but also a stunning focal point and an exclusive decorative object.

Design & Form: A unique semi-circular helix construction with 4 elegantly curved steps and a tall, turned baluster that ends at the top with a stylish knob.

Material: High-quality solid wood in a warm, noble mahogany look.

The tread surfaces of the steps are fitted with a beautiful olive-green appliqué (leather/faux leather), edged with a fine, delicate gold tooling along the edge.

Ideal as a functional ladder for bookcases, but also perfectly usable as a creative platform for plants, flowers, exclusive decorations or collectibles, (side table, plant stand).

The item is in very good, well-maintained vintage condition with minimal, age-related signs of use that give the piece its charming character (see photos). Very sturdy and ready to use.
Dimensions: H 112 / W 43 / D 55 cm.
It will be very well packed.
