Cutlery set for 12 (54) - Silverplated

54-piece silver-plated antique Belgian cutlery set in excellent condition. It bears hallmarks depicting the letters "MB" and an elephant, with the mark "Govaers-Bruxelles" on the knife blades. Manufactured by the Brussels-based firm Orfèvrerie Govaers, a competitor to the renowned Wiskemann company in the mid-20th century. The company ceased operations in the late 20th century.
