Description from the seller
The device in the photo is a rare selector for Yamaha audio systems, used to switch multiple sound sources, amplifiers, and speaker sets.
Device features
Intended use:
It allows connecting and flexibly cross-wiring multiple amplifiers, turntables (with Phono inputs and grounding), AUX devices, and speaker systems.
Construction:
Classic, vintage audio equipment with mechanical switches on the front panel, typical for the Japanese hi-fi market from previous decades.
Operation:
A row of pushbuttons enables selecting the appropriate speaker and amplifier number.
Under the buttons there is a tray for sliding in cut sheets labeled for a given input.
The device is in the condition shown in the photos.
The gear comes from Japan. This version operates at 230V (voltage selector on the back checked).
Fully functional.
It facilitates maintaining and connecting a large hi-fi audio collection and enjoying listening in various combinations.
It originates from a closed hi-fi audio shop from many years ago (auction description).
Of course I’m happy to answer any additional questions.
I personally use a similar selector and highly value the listening options.
