Description from the seller
Fraraccio San Fratello – 17 cm - resin faux horn – Early 2000s
Description
Splendid and authentic San Fratello Fraraccio, made in the early 2000s according to the Sicilian artisanal tradition. This model represents one of the most fascinating and symbolic regional knives in Italy.
Originating from the mountain village of San Fratello, in the province of Messina, the Sanfratellano knife has its roots in Sicilian pastoral culture. Its characteristic olive leaf-shaped blade makes it an iconic object of the island’s traditional cutlery.
The knife is made with a handle in resin faux horn, an entirely stainless steel frame, and a blade in INOX 420 steel, a material valued for its corrosion resistance and ease of maintenance.
A magnificent collectible piece that embodies history, tradition and Italian artisanal craftsmanship.
