AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Sony Alpha cameras are frequently paired with the ultra-compact E PZ 16-50mm OSS lens as a standard kit, making it one of the most popular starting setups for beginner photographers and videographers.
This lens is specifically designed for Sony's APS-C sensor cameras and the focal length behaves like a 24-75mm on a full-frame camera, which is a highly versatile range that covers everything from wide landscapes to classic portraits.
Here is a breakdown of the lens's key strengths and practical limitations:
Key Strengths & Features
• Power Zoom (PZ): Instead of a mechanical zoom ring, this lens uses an electronic motor. This allows for incredibly smooth, fluid zooming, which is highly beneficial for shooting video.
• Optical SteadyShot (OSS): Because many of Sony’s entry-to-mid-range APS-C bodies lack in-body image stabilization, the built-in optical stabilization in this lens is crucial for preventing blurry photos from shaky hands.
A brand-new LanParte stabilizer is included.
Strap, bag, battery and micro-USB charging cable are included.
