Handled vase by Professor Max Läuger from the heyday of German Jugendstil (Art Nouveau), the years around 1900 to 1910.
In this phase, Professor Max Laeuger served as artistic director for the Kunsttöpferei der Tonwerke Kandern (KTK) in Baden. The designs created there are characterized by the distinctive, relief-like glaze painting, in which the floral decoration (here daisies) is applied in relief with liquid clay slip onto the vessel.

Henkelvase von Professor Max Läuger aus der Blütezeit des deutschen Jugendstils, den Jahren um 1900 bis 1910.
In dieser Phase war Professor Max Laeuger als künstlerischer Leiter für die Kunsttöpferei der Tonwerke Kandern (KTK) in Baden tätig. Seine dort entstandenen Entwürfe zeichnen sich durch die charakteristische, erhabene Schlickermalerei aus, bei der die florale Dekoration (hier die Margeriten) reliefartig in flüssigem Tonschlicker auf das Gefäß aufgetragen wurde.
