Description from the seller

Exceptionally signed on the first page by William Klein (1926–2022), unique and unfindable elsewhere in a signed copy on the internet. 24 pages on glossy paper with a photographic cover and 26 original color photographs.

“Unanimité” is a promotional booklet designed in 1965 by graphic designer and publisher Robert Delpire for the Citroën automobile brand dedicated to the famous Citroën DS 19. The included texts present glowing international press reviews of the DS 19, highlighted by William Klein's artistic, bold, and colorful gaze. Citroën—producers among the most avant-garde automotive designs ever produced in France for the general public—has always boasted of its collaborations with artists, who over the years have included Cartier-Bresson, Doisneau, Jean-Paul Goude, and Marc Riboud. For this catalogue from the late 1960s, William Klein focused on the futuristic and aerodynamic design elements that made the DS (pronounce “De-esse,” French for goddess) one of the most unique cars ever built. The memory of this vehicle was so prestigious that in 2010 a new Citroën DS3 model was developed and marketed as a line of premium products within the brand.

Book from my personal collection, in excellent condition, kept with the utmost care. Shipped protected with reinforced packaging and guaranteed international tracking. For multiple purchases, there is the possibility of grouped shipping with reimbursement of any excess postage paid via PayPal.
